Villa Muggia Wedding in Stresa was the setting for Harriet and Sam’s elegant celebration on 13 September 2026. We had the pleasure of creating the complete floral design for their symbolic ceremony and reception at this beautiful villa in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore.
For their wedding flowers, Harriet and Sam chose an elegant, minimal, airy and contemporary style, with a refined white and green colour palette.
White roses were the main flower of the design, combined with white and green hydrangeas and seasonal flowers. The result was a timeless floral concept designed to complement the atmosphere of Villa Muggia while maintaining a natural sense of lightness and movement.
Villa Muggia Wedding Ceremony
The symbolic ceremony took place at Villa Muggia in Stresa, with both the ceremony and reception held at the same venue.
For the ceremony, we created four main floral arrangements positioned on white pedestals, framing the ceremony area with an elegant and airy floral presence.
Along the aisle, four additional ground floral arrangements continued the white and green palette, creating a natural visual connection between the entrance and the ceremony setting.
Rather than creating a heavy floral backdrop, the design focused on height, balance and movement, allowing the flowers to enhance the setting while remaining refined and contemporary.
At the end of the ceremony, the four main arrangements were carefully relocated to the reception area, giving the floral design a second life within the celebration.

White & Green Wedding Flowers
Harriet and Sam chose a classic white and green palette interpreted in a modern and minimal way.
White roses were at the heart of the floral design, accompanied by white and green hydrangeas and seasonal flowers selected to create volume, texture and movement.
The combination of different shapes and shades of white and green created a cohesive floral identity throughout the wedding, from the ceremony arrangements and personal flowers to the reception tables.
The result was elegant without feeling formal, romantic without becoming overly decorative, and perfectly suited to the contemporary atmosphere the couple wanted for their celebration.
Harriet’s Bridal Bouquet
For Harriet, we created an elegant bridal bouquet made primarily with white roses, finished with a delicate white chiffon ribbon.
The bouquet reflected the same minimal and refined aesthetic as the rest of the wedding flowers, creating continuity between Harriet’s personal flowers and the overall floral design.
Two coordinating bouquets were also created for the bridesmaids, together with four boutonnieres, completing the personal flowers for the wedding party.
Wedding Reception at Villa Muggia
After the symbolic ceremony, the celebration continued at Villa Muggia.
For the reception, the floral design became lighter and more minimal while maintaining the same white and green colour story.
The imperial table was decorated with glass bud vases in different heights, each holding individual white roses. Some of the roses from the ceremony aisle arrangements were carefully recovered and reused for the reception tables.
This approach allowed the floral design to evolve naturally from ceremony to dinner while creating continuity between the different moments of the day.
Along the imperial table, glass candle holders with candles and fresh lemons were arranged freely between the flowers.
The combination of white roses, transparent glass, candlelight and lemons created a fresh and elegant tablescape with a distinctly Italian character.
The main floral arrangements from the ceremony were also repositioned in the aperitif and reception areas, allowing the most important floral elements to become part of the setting throughout the celebration.
Floral Design Created Around the Venue
Every wedding venue has its own atmosphere, proportions and character, and our floral projects are designed around the spaces in which they will be experienced.
For Harriet and Sam’s wedding at Villa Muggia in Stresa, the floral design was conceived to move naturally through the different stages of the celebration.
The larger arrangements created presence and structure during the ceremony, while the reception tables featured a lighter composition of individual roses, glass and candlelight.
Carefully reusing selected flowers and relocating the main arrangements also allowed us to create visual continuity between the ceremony and reception without unnecessarily repeating floral elements.
The result was a coherent wedding design in which every arrangement had its own role while remaining part of the same overall aesthetic.
